Today we began our investigation into MULTIPLICATION by looking at what multiplication actually is. We then broke it down a bit more as the students do have a fairly good idea of what it means to multiply and their multiplication tables. However, looking at Factors in Multiplication was new to them so we did the following exercises and watched a little video to help us understand the concept a bit more. This will certainly hep them get a deeper understanding of multiplication and assist them in their division skills. I've included the video link to assist/ remind them how to find factors.
